This policy explains what Punjabi Dhaba (“we”) collects when you use this website, and how it is used.
What we collect
- Account details — your name, email address, phone number and password (stored encrypted), or your Google/Facebook profile name and email if you sign in with them.
- Orders and bookings — what you order, delivery address, table number, special instructions, reservation details and catering enquiries.
- Payments — card payments are processed by Stripe. Your card number never reaches our servers; we only keep a payment reference and the amount.
- Loyalty and favorites — your points balance and the dishes you save.
- Messaging preferences — whether you agreed to receive SMS or WhatsApp messages.
- Technical data — IP address, browser type and sign-in times, kept for security.
How we use it
- To prepare, deliver and bill your orders, and to hold your table.
- To send order, booking and account emails (for example order confirmations and booking reminders).
- To send promotional SMS or WhatsApp messages only if you opted in — you can opt out at any time.
- To prevent fraud and keep accounts secure.
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with services that help us run the restaurant (payment processing, email delivery, hosting) and when required by law.
Cookies and local storage
We use a session cookie to keep you signed in and to protect forms. Your cart, favorites, theme and similar preferences are stored in your browser’s local storage. We do not use advertising cookies.
Keeping and deleting your data
We keep order records as required for accounting. You can update your details on your profile page, and you can ask us to delete your account by contacting us below.
